Committed to homegrown skate essence, this Spanish label has taken the route of designing, refining and manufacturing its collections in Barcelona. This ensures the craftsmanship and integrity of each piece is an accurate reflection of the brands ethics and attitude.

 

Initially, LXV was a quality beanie brand that supported a collective of creative individuals within the snowboard, skateboard and artsy worlds. Bringing the best Barcelona ambassadors to the brand, the clean knit, fleece and tee development naturally ensued using avant-garde hues and colorful punches for pop.

 

Attention to detail has been given to each and every one of the pieces, every element of trim, closure detail, hangtag and embroidery. Expect the Fall 2012 seasonal collection to arrive soon through the LXV website and selected UK stockists.

Talk us through a day in the life of you…
Depending on the day it changes a lot! Some things which happen quite often are – Nail appointments / replying to emails / coming up with new ideas for nail designs / researching & working on new ideas / updating my blog / painting fake nails to sell / nail painting at events / meetings / nannying.

I like to take naps too, and I might occasionally have a liquid lunch. I also spend a large amount of time torturing myself by trawling through property websites and looking at beautiful houses that I can’t afford.

People who think they’re better than everyone else. Ignorance. The extortionate cost of public transport. Flaky people. People with no sense of humour.

Makes you happy?
Sun, festivals, my friends, dancing, (dark) rum, gold, free things, good clothes, people saying they like my work. Good hugs.

Your most missed memory?
Summer 2003. It was just a lot..

The last thing that you bought?
A pint of cider at the gig I was at last night.

My bed, India, or Hampstead Heath with my chums.
