Sane Comunications SS12 Press Day

Yesterday Sofidonuts went along to another press day, held by Sane Comunications to have a ganders at what their brand’s had to offer for Spring Summer next year. The showroom was fruity to say the least, with alot of fun loving colour and holiday feel good patterns.

We saw the bright clock faces of TWRI, a swedish brand that speicalise in making acetate watches. Happy Socks is another colourful Swedish brand that present alot of louds patterns to get you off on the right step. Ellesse Heritage, the iconic Italian sportswear brand, have all their re-worked original peices out and about, including some nice high top kicks. Lavenham take their British country life label to the city street for this new season. Their collection cooks up a mixture of floral quilted blazers, fluorescent windbreakers and quilted overshirts to give it more of an uban edge. Finally London based independent footwear label Pointer showed us a wide range of styles, all inspired everything from art to music to skateboarding.

Thanks for the show around, and the tropical Juice Sane! Was a pleasure, thank you for having us.

Super Doll presents; Social Monstrosities.

Made from 17″ tall resin, complete with ball joints allowing 19 points of articulation, these dolls probably aren’t for your kids. No, instead there are to be crudely placed saddling miniature chairs, leaning over tables and suggestively posing whilst wearing some doll-sized haute couture number. The ‘Sybarites’ as they are named, are inspired by a modern day controversy, human cloning. A single clone was used in this collection, Clone 0777 to be precise. Since their inception in 2005, they have become an under ground collecting phenomena.

Tonight Sofidonts were graciously invited along to their couture exhibition in Blackall Studios, and we were dazzled by each doll’s enigmatic beauty. Enjoy the snaps guys, was an enchanting sight.

Today COFFIN ON CAKE PR held a S/S ’12 press day at The Vinyl Factory in Soho. Sofidonuts were invited to come down and take a a look at what some of COFFIN ON CAKE‘s brands had to offer for Spring/Summer next year. It was a great chance to see urban street wear all out fresh and some of it was proper nice. Surfdome.com in particular have really seemed to up their game,  with recognising great up and coming brands such as One Teaspoon and Afends, and  had plenty of their garms about. Other brands showcased included Pull-in underwear, Converse, Herschel bags and Fallen. Was a rad day, was well looked after and given a very exciting doggy bag. Big thanks to the Coffin crew and all the brands that had taken part. Enjoy the snaps!
