From The director of I Am Legend and the producers of Heroes, comes, Touch. Based on human connectivity and the concept that everyone, and everything in the world is connected, the show delves into the idea that it all comes down to a mathematical equations and numbers. There is no guarantee that Touch will be a major success but with such a huge team behind it, it’s hard to imagine it falling by the wayside.
Jake Bohm is a mute, autistic child with an outstanding ability to predict the future. With Kiefer Sutherland appearing to have a fondness for numbers (considering his starring role in 24) he plays Jake’s father in the series. But putting his possible obsession aside, this show may be what takes over most of our lives in 2012. Have a peep at the trailer and let us know what you think.
The show hits America this January, but who knows when we’ll be receiving it over on our side of the pond.

December 19th, 2011 by MojoDalston Superstars Episode 1
November 16th, 2011 by LaraUnless you’ve been living under a rock, you’ll have heard of Dalston Superstars – The satirical mock-umentary about a bunch of self absorbed Dalston-ites, Vice Magazine’s latest masterpiece. The series was introduced a month ago with a short promo called ‘The only way is Dalston’, originally intended to take the piss out of an MTV pitch to make an actual documentary about the very same scene. But now episode 1 has landed! and it’s amazing. Particularly Stefan’s character.
You might not rofl but viewing pleasure rates somewhere between looking at a Vice fashion shoot and watching The Only Way Is Essex. “Swag, Bitches!”
DVDs You Should Own: Blue Bloods
September 19th, 2011 by Mojo
In light of the Emmy Awards, which took place yesterday, I thought I’d give you guys a heads up on the fantastic Emmy award-winning series from the writers of The Sopranos, Blue Bloods.
When I initially heard the concept I didn’t exactly warm to it: “NYC police chief (Tom Selleck) and his testosterone fuelled family of even more police officers (oh, and a lawyer daughter) work to reclaim the streets from those ‘good-for-nothing’ criminals.” Okay so it wasn’t exactly in those words but as someone who pleasantly mutters along to NWA’s ‘Fuck Da Police’ and with the vivid image of Tom Selleck’s role in Three Men and a Baby, this didn’t altogether seem too enticing. Yet after watch the wildly entertaining pilot and witnessing a criminal having his head flushed down the toilet; it grabbed me by the end.
Blue Bloods may seem to be a mildly pretentious attempt to prove to society that the US police force is well worth their praises, but the series delves deeper and not only examines the numerous opinions surrounding police practices, but challenges them. Is police brutality a necessity at times, or just plain barbarism? Is it fair for police to favour a citizen who committed a crime in order to protect others?
Blue Bloods is one for deep thinkers and lovers of action, while also lending some humour to often heavily themed storylines. It’s no surprise that this series is taking to the American public so well, but that doesn’t mean the rest of the world can’t get involved too. Blue Bloods: The First Season DVD Box set is available from 19th September, while you can also catch the new series every Tuesday at 10pm on Sky Atlantic HD.
